I didn't forget your requests, but I had to take this out of my system ^^
This post is dedicated to zirkau, aredhel4, criandomalvas, luxbella, __sele__, xliriumx, snitch_rbk, musicalbubbles, targaryen and komadreja because they're AWESOME. Ok, that's a lot of people..but trust me, they are ;)

I said this was going to be a non-shippy fanmix and...well, I think it works both ways. I was thinking about the history of these three lonely, broken people who've spent their wholes lifes as outcasters and how now they've found each other. And even if they'll never admit it, they actually like having each other around. They finally belong to something that means something to them and even if they only have one thing in common, they make it work. And yes, they have their little fights but at the end of the day, they accept each other's flaws and just enjoy each other's company. They stick together because they cover their blind spots, not just in the line of work but in their lives too.
I've tried to express that with the songs I picked, so that's probably why some of them can be seen as love songs. Even if it's a dysfunctional kind of love (a very cute and fun to watch one ^)

About the artwork..Yeah, I have no idea where that came from. I can only say it actually made sense in my head. I guess I was going for something fun and pulp. I didn't wanted to do anything too angsty because despite of their past, and how broken and emotionally crippled they are, this it's not an angsty relationship, it's surprisingly innocent and naive, which is why I find it so wonderful and refreshing...And the idea of these three characters as some kind of "twisted" superheroes from a comic book was too irresistible (They use their "superpowers" to help people, after all, even if they usually break the law to do it...)
The fact that it seems like they're always looking for trouble is probably guilty of the explosion behind them. And because I like this show's explosions a little bit too much :p
